[FONT=verdana, geneva, lucida, lucida grande, arial, helvetica, sans-serif]I need a 25 hp short shaft, electric start with remote steering for a light project. A mid-80s low time motor should do. I find many suitable options but almost all have a tiller. The steering connection and shift lever looks straight forward, but I'm not so sure about the carb/timing advance aspect of it. I have done this on a 1950 Mercury but that was rudimentary. So how difficult is it to convert a mid-80s OMC from tiller to a remote? [/FONT]
