Boat slow to plane

I have a '94 17.5' Stratos bass boat with a '94 112hp Evinrude that is slow to plane. Idles and revs good but when throttled up and trimmed all the way down sounds as if bogging down for sometimes a minute or quite a ways on water. Once up and trimmed up runs and sounds good. Have also noticed can shift some weight or passenger up front it helps out..Motor has original prop..few minor nicks but I dont think enough to effect. Have noticed also when idling thru no wake {bridge} after been up and running it will plane off fine. Any suggestions? New to forum and would appreciate any advice.

Folks seem shy to give information.-----------Is this something that developed suddenly ?-----Is the boat kept in the water ?------Pitch of your prop ?------Compression test done ? ------------Checked to make sure it has spark on all 4 cylinders ?----------Checked for water in the fuel ?

Hit your primer/choke once and see if it picks up.
