help with johnson 3hp - what is the part called

hi

i have 3hp Johnson from 1992

i have looked through parts catalogues on line but cannot work out the name of the part that i need - it is the part the the end of the throttle cable slots in to, presumably to the carburettor?

Assuming i can find this part, is it possible do you think for someone new to outboards (in terms of fixing them that is, not using them) to replace this themselves or does this need to go to a professional?

The part # you want goes into the timer base and is part # 332097. Check out shop.evinrude.com and look under ign for your mtr. Also check your posts on the other forum.
