2006 Evinrude 200hp can" come out of hole with merc prop.

Someone said there is a ring to help with that not coming out of hole is that true and does anyone have a part number?

Actually the rings you are speaking about help seal the prop so the exhaust exits through the hub depending on the prop type. Sometimes drilling in the prop will help with coming out of the hole so the prop spins faster (exhaust being a void) so I don't think the ring will help you.

If you are new to the boat, take it to a shop and let them deal with it. It gets expensive trying different props if you have to pay for them. Other issues come into it. Is the prop stainless? Four bladed? Vented? and I concur with Racerone, is the engine up to snuff?
