Hi all, Have a very frustrating problem with my outboard. 1999 johnson 90hp oceanpro 2stroke
After i give it a good run sitting on or above 3500rpm for any longer than 10-15minutes and switch it off for upto 45minutes it has trouble starting. Once i get it going and start to accelarate if i can at all it starts to miss fire and stalls after not to long at all. Once stalled wont start for atleast 45minutes then runs fine. Normally doing a quick dash back to the boat ramp. Seems like heats sink to me but not sure what sensors/components this might effect. Any one had the same problem or know any information that might point me in the right direction to get this problem fixed.
Thanks Mitch
