Can anyone please tell me the age of my Evinrude?
The only number visible on the engine is G3659167 on the cylinder head plug.
It's a 50hp twin cylinder two stroke with tilt&trim.

I've got a list of part numbers on the engine, those that I can see. Maybe that will help.

Power Pack : CD2SL / 585074 9A T-OA
Siemens Relays (2) : 9902 586224 VF4 15F21 211
Single Dual Ignition Coil : 583740 24AT - OA
Inline Fuse (Relay) 514491 (2 wires; 1 to loom and 1 to relay holder)
Spark Plugs : Champion QL16V
Head Casting : 334280

I've attached photos of the engine, hope this helps in identifying it!
Thanks.

The model # ( not posted ) is needed.----The serial # does not help.-----It does look to be a 92 to 94 model based on the graphics of the cowling.

Thanks.
Unfortunately that's the only number on the engine, on the cylinder head plug.
A contact suggested that it was an E50RNLIC, a commercial or military engine. Don't know where he got that from. But you would think that somewhere there must be a list of all the engine serial numbers produced with associated information, wouldn't you?
Obviously I'm going to need spares at some time and without the model number it's going to prove difficult, especially if it's anything out of the ordinary.

There is nothing " special " about that motor.--It has the simple fuel pump instead of VRO. You must mix fuel at 50:1 ratio.---------------The cover makes it about a 92 / 94 model.-----And the list of years and model #'s is found right here on this site.

If you still looking for the year, at an OMC (Evin. or Johnson) dealer you could give the serial # and see what model it was and date of purchase. There still should be some kind of data base for that info.
