I want to add an hour meter. The back of my tach has positive and negative male spade terminals as does the hour meter. Can I just jump the leads from the tach to the hour meter? I'd be sure to maintain polarity. Will that work? Thanks for any assistance!
 
Ayuh,.... All ya gotta do is wire the hour meter to the Ignition,...

Ya only want Power goin' to it, when the key is On...

If ya pull Power from the tach leads, I'd pull the Power, yet ground it back to yer ground buss bar...

As long as your tach only works with the ignition switch on, the positive and negative terminals on the tach will work fine.
 
Thanks guys! ...So tonight I can dream about something other than blue gray smoke and sparks coming from the back of my tach!
