1972 johnson 20 hp will 1979 25 hp carb fit?

1972 johnson, 20hp.
can i install a 79 25hp carb on it? looks to be close in size, but i am unsure. i know on the smaller 9.9 you can swap from mid 70's on, but how about the 20/25 series?
