replacing pull rope?

Hi All, (happy new year) Ive got a J25RECB and the rope looks pretty bad, is this something I can do without special tools?

Just replace the rope, no tools required.-----Remove the handle.----Pull the rope out.-----------Remove the rope.-------Fit the new rope in.--Let the spring retract.-------Replace the handle.--------Go through the steps a few times before you start the actual work.
 
Thanks Kim, Happy New Year to ya, she sure ran like a champ yesterday on the lake, my boat flies with this 25hp on it,
couln't have done it without your/an every ones help, great tip on where to get the rope, I'll give it a shot tomorrow when the stores open again, I wouldn't have thought of clamping the pully either,
