Carb adjustment question on Sears 7 hp

This is the same engine that Mr. Crabs has helped me with. There's a screw on the bottom of the carb (needle adjustment?) that I don't know where it should be.

Anyone?

some require finger tight adjustment, it all depends...its not much out if that helps

Thanks for the reply sir. I can get the motor to run but it won't stay running. Seemed like I had it flooded today... pumped a lot of gas/oil mix through it just pulling. Had no spark again so I tightened up the air gap and got spark. Seems like a tempermental motor; I can get it running sometimes but not reliably. Seems like it's definitely a fuel issue because when it does start, it runs strong.

sounds like the ignition is not synced right to the carb, you should have the stator cam move just a tad before the butterfly opens, this a must tune situation everytime you mess with the ignition and carb,

I can give you more detail but you really need the engine carb manual, e-mail me [email protected]
