Hello everyone....
I was just wonder if there is an "average" weight for this size pontoon boat? I weighed the trailer while it was empty. I took the boat off of the lake tonight. The trailer weighed in at 820 pounds. The whole rig together is 3020. The boat is weighing in at 2200. I was thinking it should weigh in at about 1500 pounds. I just ripped off the old decking. It had 2 layers of 3/4 in pressure treated plywood, and 15 pressure treated 2X4's. for a total of 860 pounds. I replaced the deck with 3/4in marine plywood. which shaved off about 500 pounds. Any thoughts? BTW...it has a 1976 70HP evinrude hanging of the back.
