1997 force 120 hp water in bottom spark plug.

replaced head gasket, no luck. being told could be reeds. any help on how to check reeds and replace would be helpfull. can i tell by pulling lower carb and looking in and what am i looking for. Also have stater and triger to put in because was not getting fire to # 4 plug, before getting water on plug, coil good, rebuilt fuel pump. seam to keep going different directions on this, a real headace, compression is good
 
The reed valves generally have nothing to do with water getting into the engine.----In good condition they let the fresh air fuel mixture into the crankcase and close for crankcase compression when piston is going down in the cylinder.---------------Have you looked into / checked the lower crankshaft seal ?
