1st) My 2009 225 Suzuki starts and runs perfect. When I throtle up to 2500 rpm or higher the motor runs for 30-40 seconds then bogs down and stalls. Changed the exterior gas water seperator the internal one as well as all the fuel filters as well as the screen in th VP seperator. She still boggs down at the higher RPM's the fuel is good.
then tonight) I got to the boat tonight and immediately cleaned the fuel vent, than I ran the boat tonight and watched the fuel ball, I was happy to see it collapse into a pancake. I by passed the fuel ball by using a brass nipple.
Started her up and had her going to 5500 rpm I thought we had it beat, then wham, off. I am going to replace the fuel line tomorrow. I thought the balls in the primer ball were stuck but after removing the primer ball the 2 check valve balls were not stuck. The only reason I think the primer ball collapsed was there might be a restriction in the fuel line. After this I’m guessing the next step is a mechanic.
