Honda 225 Upgrade?

I have heard that the Honda 225 outboard has been de-tuned but is really the same engine used in an Acura. I have heard that you can gain 70 HP by putting a car fuel module in instead of the stock one.

Has anyone heard of this or done it? If so, where can I find the info about doing it?

Not quite. It is a J35A3. Same as in the MDX in terms of the block, bore, and stroke. However, the 225 has not been detuned, to the best of my understanding. Plus the ECM is entirely different on the 225. So, don't even think about it. You'll ruin the engine.
