Wooden seat mount?

I am changing my front two seats in my half cab due to excessive wear at the base. I seen a guy on youtube stick a ply wood base to the deck and then screw the seat mount onto this.

My question is what did he use to stick it on with? it would have to be a strong bond & be able to stick wood to fiber glass.

Any help appreciated.

What kind of access do you have underneath? And how sound is the decking? Wood screws (Stainless) would do the trick but you can drill through and bolt it down, if you have access underneath.

Ayuh,..... More Fiberglass would be my guess....
