This is an alert to all who have a HPFI engine.
I have twin 150 2005 HPFI engines. While trolling the left engine shut down. Back home after chcecking I found the linkage going to the oil pump located left side below fuel filter disconnected.
The connector that the linkage screws into cracked over the years and came off.
I recarmend that everyone check the connection. Look for a small crack starting at the connection of the oil pump linkage. If so change it . It may save you a bad day fishing.
