My Steering shakes back and fo

My Steering shakes back and forth at random positions. We narrowed it down to the Power Steering Ram or possibly the steering arm assembly (possibly the dowel is busted). Any suggestions? Would a steering ram shake if there is a problem with the hydraulics? Thanks in advance for ANY advice! Any suggesstions on where to purchase a Ram (part #872215).

"If the ram itself starts jumping from side to sideit is normally an internal shimming problem in the spool valve that controles the hydralic pressure, and the ram is unfortunately 'not servicable'. Try first to eliminate all mechanical play in the steering system like worn bushings, link bolts, cable play etc, and be sure the steering ram itself is properly centered in the fix with no load on the valve when going straight forward. On a DP the problem may even occur if one of the props is damaged."
