"Was wondering what the weight of a good heat exchanger is for a 4 inch model from an 86. Mine seems really heavy for what it is and i suspect its clogged thats why i would like to know , thanks"

"They are heavy, the V/8 version probably weighs 30-40 lbs. If you are having cooling problems you may want to remove the end caps and take a look inside."
