Hello. I'll keep it simple; I have a '83 15 hp evinrude (J15RCTR) that I want to convert from tiller to remote steering. I'm fairly new to working on outboards, but I have an experienced mechanic who's going to help me, I just need to gather the necessary parts. I see that there's adapter kits on this site, is that where I should start?
