I poured EZstore for E10 fuel

I poured EZstore for E10 fuel and a stabilizer into my tank per marina sugestion. Even though five marinas that I visit in NJ said there have been no problems with E10 fuel I put it in. After a run it sounded like hydraulic lock while cranking cold the next day. Rebuilt the carb. Did the same thing. Got it running but it had blue smoke. Does fuel stabilizer smoke when burned? Any truth to E10 destroying my valves with black goo? I saw no black goo in the carb or fuel filter. Thanks

Where would black goo come from if you use gas with alcohol? The only thing I can think of would be if the fuel breaks the gas tank down if it was made of fiberglass.

"That's where it comes from, and many engines have been ruined.

I suspect the E10 stirred up a bunch of crud that was content to just lie there in the tanks. Gonna have to keep changing fuel filters. I hope you have a water separator!
