Hello all

I have a little Johnson 4.0 here with this number on the freeze plug C8221419 . Can you tell me the model, year etc from this number so I can order parts.

The tag is missing from the clamp bracket. It is a standard shaft with integral tank and neutral/forward gears. On the top of the motor cowl, the 100:1 mix sticker is still there. I read somewhere that this started in 1985 and lasted a couple years.

That's an expensive o-ring even if it comes with the screw.lol


Why would this motor have the 100:1 fuel mix sticker on it if that only started in 1985?
