Needed information and parts for a 1972 evinrude

I have a 1972 envinrude, outboard, what is the common issue that will cause it not to fire? Does anyone have any used parts for sale.
 
??????--No mention of the motor model # and no mention of your location at all.----------Used parts for those are common.-Depends on where you live, and there is alway E-BAY
 
Sorry, was in a hurry, 1972 125hp 125283, location is not an issue, willing to pay shipping and handling if necessary and i'm willing to travel to get the part. I have tried e-bay with no luck.
 
Maybe all you need to do is clean the distributor and perhaps replace the anti-reversing spring.----------Without proper testing then all you are doing is guessing.--Guessing can be expensive on one of those motors.
