I have a 89 140hp can I put the power head from a 140 on a 115

my 115 craped out no compression i have a 140 with a good power head but not all the electric the 115 was running with all the electric i would like to swap the electric from the 115 to the 140 the 140 has a broken lower end the 115 has a good bottom is this possible thank you
 
Take the 2 motor model #'s and then look it up on here to see if base gasket is the same.----------------------An 89 -140 is a " looper " engine and I do not think they made a 115 HP in the looper style.-------Or post pictures of the 2 engines and the answer will be instant.
 
An 89 140 " looper " is a totally different engine than say a 93 115 HP crossflow engine.----My guess is that this swap can not be done.
