The vacum switch at the vro2 pump spits out fuel out of a pin whole when I pump the the primer bulb but stops when the engine starts, is this normal?
 
Any spitting of gas out of any size of hole on a vacuum hose, the hose must be replaced or you will be left stranded one day.
 
Most likely the inside membrane is shot and switch not working anymore, but leaking air into the fuel system which is almost just as bad as too high vacuum! Replace it.
