:confused: Hi my name is Enrique I have a new starter that I purchase on ebay for my 40 horse 2000 Johnson but i fix the old one wiht a new spindel crown I think thats what you call it or start drive so i need to know if I can change the 9 tooth of the new one to 11 tooth will that work ok for a 1976 evinrude 25 horse thankyou
 
I dont have any for the 1976,but i do have the one from the 40 horse 2000 year that is brand new and has 9 tooth not eleven like the one should be for the 25 horse 1976 year
