Doug:
plug the transom drains and other inlets and drains with brass kitchen pan scouring pads. Water gets out but mice can't knaw thru it. A simple mouse trap is a 5 gal. bucket with some bait in the bottom and a stick for a ladder to the top on the outside. They fall in and can't get out

But neither does the stink when they die!

A better solution is what RVers use: D-Con. The mice leave the vehicle in a desparate search for water as they croak.
