help to bench test trim motor

hi guys can anyone please tell me how to bench test my trim motor off a 1976 85 hp evinrude it has three wires 1 black,1red,1blue or green thanx warnie
 
Put bat neg to black. Then put bat positive to the red and see which way it rotates. then put bat positive to blue and it should rotate in the opposite direction.
