Howdy, my name is Sam, and im new.

I used to race this motor in the mid 90's and it has been in storage since 1999.

I have restored the motor, but i am having a few issues. :
Idles fine and revs fine in neutral, BUT when under load it runs only on one or two cylinders.
seems like it goes into limp mode.

Notes on motor:
Blueprinted
Boyesen reed valves ( new)
Manual start with tiller arm
Oil injection removed.
Thermostat removed.

I suspect that the disconnected oil sensor wires might be tricking the CDI into thinking that the oil level or flow is low, please advise if i need to bridge the sensor wires to prevent this.

I also have a CDI unit spare that does not have a rev limiter, can i just go and plug it in?

Also , two of the air mixture screws are ceased in the carbs, and broken off, can this also cause a problem?

Warm regards and thank you for the assistance in advance
