"The Tach on my Starboard engine has started to run erratically the last few trips. Will read well at idle, around 800RPM, but as I open up the engine to trolling speed if bounces around between 1500 and 3000 RPM. It will then sometimes resolve and work well for a while, then start bouncing around again throughout the day. Engine is running smoothly a consistant. The altnators were replaced in June, and are charging. could this be just a bad connections or a actual problem with the tach?"
