BF50 (2006) will not take full throttle

2006 BF50 in well serviced condition will not take full throttle application on 16ft LUND. Engine starts to accelerate, then creates a pop sound and stops. Restarts fine but must apply throttle in steps to bring on boat to plane. Starts up no problem, no cough, sputter or other fuel related issues apparent. Use clean fuel. Carbs have been cleaned and vacuum balanced, plugs changed and engine serviced by dealer seasonally. Problem remains. Help?
 
Sounds like the carburetors are set a wee bit " lean " at idle.-------Consult with the dealer on how you can tweek that out on the water under load.
