I need to know what year my motor is. I cant find any information on what to do. The numbers on it are: 2B6A1 017055 Any help greatly appreciated!!!
 
hi stay on this site and go to engine repairs.enter yamaha 2hp.when that comes up look for your number 2B6A1 017055.
You should then see year of your engine.
 
I cant find the engine repair section. I went to the " home " part got on the engine section but found no search function. Can you walk me through the steps or tell me what section I should be in? sorry for the ineptitude!
 
ok,
First page on this site,you will then see........Boat engine parts,put your curser on that title you see ......out board parts,
go down to Yamaha,click on a part and a table will come up .
You then have to look for your number,along the top of the table,may take a bit of time but you should find it
