Carb Issues I Think?

I have a 1992 Hurricane Deckboat with a 4.3 V6 Chevy engine powering a Yamaha stern drive unit. I was out this weekend in it and it starting running rough.....it was as if the carb was overloading with a heavy gas fume smell. It would start up and run decent idling but when I put in gear it just bogged completely down and eventually would cut off. After sitting for a few minutes and gently accelerating it would finally clear up and run very well but when coming back to idle speed and trying to acceleratedit started overloading again....I think it may be the choke sticking but not sure...

Any suggestions appreciated??

Thanks in advance!

Bad fuel.Or bad fuel filter done it's job to the carb.Dirty fuel caused this.
Cleaning/rebuilding the carb will only last a short while until it does it again.Get some sea foam for the tank.Rebuild the carb correctly.
