1996 Yamaha 150 Saltwater series II starter buzzing

For about a year the stater would randomly not hit when I turned the key. But would always hit on the next try. Now it will not start at all and the starter is buzzing when the key is turned. I notice today the when I tried to trim the motor that it would not trim and the starter was buzzing when the trim button was pushed. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I am anxious to get back on the water.
 
Start with having your batteries load tested. Make sure all the connections are bright and tight on both positive and negative. See if there is a hard spot in your batt cable where it enters the cowl. A voltage drop test on the cranking circuit would probably find the culprit.
