Yamaha F100 Parasitic battery drain

Hey all,

I've got a 2001 Yamaha F100 that's killing my battery when it sits for a week or two. I've found the drain is about 0.0100A draw (not tons but enough to wreak your day).

I've found the draw goes to zero when the 30A fuse is pulled but haven't been able to isolate it further. Can any suggest a couple components or areas that would be worth further investigation?

Thanks!

Colin

If the engine runs normally. No other problems. Then put in a battery switch and turn it off when you are out of the boat. If nothing else, then just remove the negative lead to the battery. If you are in the water and need a bilge pump switch to have power. Then put in the battery switch. A fused lead to the bilge switch that is connected at the battery lead.

It is possible that the regulator rectifier is the problem. Try disconnecting it when you test to see if the draw goes away.
