My 90 Honda is fine. I believe I have an electrical problem. I have two batteries conected in parallel. After connecting the cables I turned on the Perko switch and the wing nut device attached to the positive post melted. The copper tip of the pos cable detached. There was no damage to the Perko switch, the neg post or the other battery or to any wiring anywhere else. Both batteries show a full charge. The bait and bilge pumps, bait tank light, running lights, instrument panel lights all work. The tilt motor, console gauges and starter do not operate. This is the third set of batteries over the twelve years I've had the boat. I cannot imagine what I did to cause the short circuit. Any advice/comments/ solution will be gratefully received. Thanks, Ron.
