Yam F100 carbs info needed

Hi, I hope someone can help me. A mechanic friend is going to strip and clean the carbs on my F100. I am going to buy a carb service pack but we are concerned about rebalancing. He thinks he should get a set of numbers to balance to. Is he right and if so where can I find that data??

It's a 1999 F100.

The correct procedure is in the manual. You will need a manometer to balance the carbs. Basically you set the carbs to almost even on the manometer, with the engine in neutral and at a 1000 rpms. This may be different for your model, thus my reference to the manual.
