BF2 - running off slightly under load, also

Also, the throttle when moved too fast tends to have a killing effect on the engine.
It runns at about 75% at full throttle. I have to trottle up slowly.
I have taken the plug out and cleaned it.
I have run a fresh tank through it with some gum out additive in it (back yard in a trashcan with water)
Still when I put it on the sailing skiff, it runs alittle ruff (almost sounds normal) and every once in a while it will sound like if might go down hill, be in trouble.
Any other ideas?

Most likely, the carburetor needs to be removed, disassembled and cleaned.

Depending on how old it is and what type of fuel you have been using, it may need a new fuel filter...it could be clogged. It is located inside the outlet of the fuel tank.

Those are a couple of ideas.

OK - will I need gaskets for putting the carborator back on? I'd like to know that carb. Inside and out for the future... Is there a place I can download the parts breakdown?
