Going tomorrow to look at a boat with a '04 50hp yamaha w/pt. What do i need to look for on this? I have a compression gauge, what range do i want to see/ what is acceptable? Any help/input appreciated. If i like the boat, we are taking it to a lake to run it. If all works out, will be my first Yamaha. Have had evinrude and merc previously. Thanks again.
 
Asis usual there is key information missing in your request.-----------------Is this a 2 stroke or 4 stroke motor ?
