I have recently purchased a C&C 37 with a Yanmar 3HMF -- the one with the heat exchanger that isolates the sea water from the engine coolant. I see from the service manual that it has 3 engine zincs. In this engine, where sea water never contacts the zincs, do they ever need to be inspected or replaced?
