Copper Never Seize question

Replaced water pumps in our 2007 Yamaha 200HP four stroke motors this past weekend, on one motor we used Copper Never-Seize on all the lower unit bolts and stainless pins in the water pump housing on the other engine after thinking about it a little we used white grease. Are either of these methods acceptable or will they hurt the motor through increased corrosion or stuck bolts. What would be the best product to coat the bolts with to reduce corrosion and ease future removal.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Copper Never-Seize or equivalent is by far the best stuff. We up here swear by copaslip or aluslip, especially when dealing wiht heat and pressure as in exhaust or spark plugs. On everything that must come apart is some coppergrease a must. Or aluminium grease.
Have a nice dismantling.
