gas leak honda carb

I have a 2006 90 honda outboard the top carb is leaking gas out of vent. Ihave cleaned twice and replaced needle float works freely I can make it stop leaking by running it out gas then it will not leak for a little while then start back any suggestions.
 
If you changed the needle...hopefully you used the correct part.

Next...did you clean the seat thoroughly with a q tip coated with brake kleen or some similar solvent?

Is the float height correct? Should be 11.5 mm. Generally, that makes it parallel to the base of the carburator when it is turned upside down.

Also, be sure to use some sort of fuel treatment in your fuel all the time PRi-G, Sea Foam, Quick-Kleen, etc, to keep all those passages clean and to minimize the effect of ethanol.
