I recently purchased an Older boat and am restoring it back to function.I noticed allot of foamy plastic gooey stuff around sending unit.I removed it and cleaned it up Bought new sending unit and gasket, cleaned the screw hole threads and replaced all new.Put full tank of gas in before I discovered the sending unit was leaking.Distortion of the plastic around the sending unit hole not allowing gasket to seal adequately.What can I use to seal the gasket plastic interface!!!!
