Is Salt Away as good as the advertising says?

Ordinary water gets rid of / dissolves salt.----------White deposits in motors are usually aluminum oxide ( product of aluminum combining with oxygen ) and not sure if this product says it will get rid of that.---Never used the stuff myself, not near salty water.--------Most of the " remedies " are on the shelf because people buy them and they are in the affordable range.
 
I stopped using it after several years. I flushed the engine diligently after every trip... and kept getting oily, soapy type deposit build-up around thermostats and passages. It seems to work well on exterior surfaces.
 
I use it faithfully everytime I put trailer in an out of the salt water seems to help from what I see by appearance of other trailers lug nuts(mix in bug sprayer )... As far as running thru engines I flush every trip with hose, and a few times a year I do saltaway exepcially if I plan to not use for awhile its gets saltaway treatment....
