I posted up awhile ago about BF150 lowers and what years would fit what. I'm looking at a bunch of new/used/unknown BF150 lowers and am trying to figure out how to visually ID a left hand rotation from a right. I have read somewhere about a left having a machined groove in the output shaft. Question is, where? Is it supposed to be perpendicular to the splines? These lowers are all out of boxes and I can't learn much from part numbers. Thanks for you input.

Standard rotation have no identifying rings on the prop shaft. The counter has one ring perpendicular to the splines....in the splines near the prop nut end

Hey Mike, Thanks again!!! Course, after I posted that up, I stepped back and thought about it, "Hey, meathead, push or pull on the shift shaft and spin the output shaft" Yah know, I can be pretty dense sometimes. Anyway, thanks for the info, it makes it all that easier!! Rob.
