HI,i'm new here and need some help please... i have a 2004 2 stroke 60eojet40 ser number ot913713 3cly outboard 40 h/p the motor was bogging down so when i got home i did a compression ck
and the top cly was 120 psi middle 30 psi bottom 120psi i ck it 4 or 5 times on a warm motor i'm not a boating mech.. i read some of the posts on this forum about compression cking
I did use to types of camras to look in side the spark plug hole all pistons looked the same up or down no holes or broken parts seen ... is there anything i can do other then a rebuild.. you all know how money is these days.. who has some??? the number 2 cly plug looks wetter then the others.. could something be stuck some where in side the motor.. or do you think its a done deal.. and if its rings can rings be put in and piston not changed any help would be greatly helpful thank you
