F115 yamaha fuel injected back fires upon starting.

If the engine isnt started for several days in the cold weather,when its started it backfires.It will then start and wont backfire and startsin 1 or 2 revs.
 
So as to understand the above post, The engine cranks(Spins) over not starting, and when you release the ignition key from the start position it back fires?

If this is the case it may be an ignition switch problem.

Me thinks lack of enough enrichment, or excess air flow. Why is the question. Is your IAC valve not adjusting properly or something preventing adequate fuel delivery when cranking and cold. These issues may be best diagnosed with the Yamaha Diagnostic tool. You may also just need a basic link and synch.
