Running synthetic oil

Is there any side effects of running synthetic oil in my bf150?

I realize it may not be necessary and may not extend my service intervals.

I've heard things about fuel in the oil or seeping seals. Any truth?
 
Yes it is true. Do not use synthetic oil at least until you have 1000 or more hours on the engine.

There will probably be a hundred posts with a hundred theories. Honda does not recommend it. Don't use it.

Whatever issues, if any, with changing back are greatly outweighed by the advantages of using the correct oil.
