yamaha Digital tach with 2005 honda bf150?

replacing my 1995 Yamaha 2 stroke 150 which runs with a didgital tach...will my new bf150 work with a yamaha tach?
 
Could work, however you need to adjust the position of the switch (is now position number 12, but need to position 4). But you get a new tachometer with a new Honda anyway.
