Dont drop the "dog-bone" adapter into the bilge! ;)

Remove hoses, remove two bolts holding the pump to the front cover, and pull out the whole pump while catching the dog bone adapter that mates pump shaft to injection pump gear. No special precautions, just mark impeller orientation and install new one the same way.
