Have fuel pressure, have spark, compression, runs fine after start, but if it sits for a day need to use starter fluid to start. Thank You for your help bf 130 fuel injection, Injectors spittin fuel ok during crank. could the volume of fuel or duration of injector on time cause this?

Try advancing your throttle when you try to cold start. If the engine starts, then most likely your idle air control is carboned up, not working or the ECM is not telling your idle air control to open up at start.

If it is carboned up, you might be able to clean the screen (part #23) with solvent if you remove the IAC (part #25). Also, make sure the opening under the screen is clear.

tried vopening the throttle about 1quarter inch/ no change. iac solonoid is definately inergizing i can see the plunger move turing crank. any more thoughts.

Yes, try a couple more things.

Has this motor started ok recently? Has this happened all of a sudden? A little more background might help.

First, advance the throttle almost half way to full throttle. Be ready to pull it back quickly if it starts.

If still no start...

Check compression.

Check the valve clearances?

I have heard of an instance where a 130 was hard to start and it turned out to be the valve clearances.

Are you using NGK spark plugs?

Are you using fresh good fuel?

If the spark plugs are not good and the fuel is not good, the 130's are not happy.
